Hello all, hope you’re ready to do some riding. I want to tell you about my August 7th Chapter ride. We will be leaving McDonald’s promptly at 9:OOa.m. The ride is going to the Drake Oil Well Museum in Titusville, Pa. The ride is 260 mile roundtrip. There will be multiple stops. We will be eating at the Bonanza buffet. The price for the buffet $10 plus your drink. We have a room reserved for the Chapter. We should arrive between noon and 12:30 p.m. We will proceed from there to the museum. If there is a group of 10 or more who tours the museum the cost will be $5.00 per person. If under 10 people do the tour it will be $6.00 per person. We will be staying in Pennsylvania. We will be returning by 6:30 p.m.
Right from light at McDonalds.
Take 79 North to Exit 78. Turn right towards Seven Fields Route 228 East.
Left onto Route 8 North.
Rest stop at Seven Eleven.
Stay on Route 8 approx 50 mile to next rest stop which is Sheetz.
Continue on Route 8 to the Bonanza.
Get back on Route 8.
Turn right on East Bloss Street.
East Bloss Street becomes Drake Well Road.
Turn slight right onto museum lane.
Returning:
Drake Well Road becomes East Bloss Street.
Left on Route 8.
Right onto I-80 West.
Take I-79 South to Grove City Exit, rest stop at Sheetz.
Take Route 19 to I-79 South.
The ride ends at I-79.
